SoapBox Automation was started in the Spring of 2009 with the sole intention of achieving “Automation everywhere, for everyone.”

In order to achieve these goals, we believe that

1. We should focus on what we are good at, what we are passionate about
2. Given the proper open collaboration tools, people can accomplish unexpected and amazing things
3. People should be allowed to profit from the content they create, or choose to give to the community
4. People are creative because there is intrinsic value in it; making things is fun and rewarding
